Enrolment Policy
(Currently under review)

The school enrolment policy follows the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Dublin.
Children must be four years of age before September 1 to be enrolled in the school for that year.

The completed enrolment policy as ratified by the Board of Management is available in the school. Places are offered in accordance with this policy.

Application forms which are available from 1 October must be completed and returned by 1 of March, together with required documents and information.

Parents are required to read and sign the School’s Code of Behaviour and agree to co-operate fully with it before their child will be accepted.

In relation to the enrolment of a child with Special Needs, the Board of Management will request a medical and or psychological report, and where not available will request that the child is assessed immediately, in order to assist the school to put in place the resources needed to meet the needs of the child as outlined in the report. Children with Special Needs are welcomed and valued in St.Michael’s, provided they meet the enrolment and school entry requirements.
