Parents’ Association

All Parents are automatically members of the Parents’ Association. St. Michael’s has a very active Parents’ Association Committee who help the school in many ways. They represent the views of the Parent body as a whole and provide a forum for consultation with the Principal and Board of Management on relevant issues. They facilitate a number of social activities and organize fund raising events each year to provide those “little extras” for your children and to help the school Board of Management financially when the need arises.

It is important that all parents attend meetings and support the committee in any of their ventures as it is your daughters who benefit from their hard work.

NB The Committee of the Parents’ Association is not:

• A channel for complaints for other parents.
• Involved with professional issues re: teaching and learning in the school.

The teaching staff and The Board of Management greatly appreciates the generosity of the committee in giving of their time and talents to St. Michael’s.
