School Board of Manangement

St. Michael's operates under the Rules of National Schools as drawn up by the Minister for Education & Science. The day-to-day running of the school is organised by the schools Board of Management

This is made up of 8 members;

• 2 appointed by the Patron, ( The Catholic Archbishop of Dublin)
• 1 mother and 1 father elected by the parents
• the principal and 1 teacher
• 2 community respentatives.

The term of office of each Board lasts for four years. The current Board was appointed in December 2007.
